We stayed here in hopes for a quiet last night in dublin after staying at the other Dean and having a disappointing experience. Benni at the front desk was lovely during check in and check out, we had a pretty terrible experience will service at the downstairs restaurant (3 different servers, 1 which was kind) but incredible service at the upstairs steakhouse. The pool area is much better maintained than the other location as well and I wished we had more time to enjoy it. Our room was TINY - I wish they would install shelves up high in these tiny rooms so there's at least somewhere to put our bags. Otherwise, functionally it was okay and decently quiet though we seemingly cannot escape the construction noise early in the morning. Overall, I'd stay here again for the amenities, the quiet area.

The hotel is modern but functional. Car park situation is poor. No water provided in rooms which is disappointing. Rooms are clean but on the small side. Breakfast is poorly managed. Lots of empty tables not cleared or cleaned. Not enough staff on the floor to deal with the build up. Lots of breakfast items out and not refilled. Overall breakfast and breakfast area was really poor for the price to stay at this hotel. Nice enough hotel, poorly managed

Great stay! The hotel was exactly as shown in the photos. It was very clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was perfect for exploring Dublin. The food on site was also very good. I would definitely stay here again!

The room was clean but a little small. The presence of all the main UK TV channels was a pleasant surprise. The shower was excellent. There were also plenty of towels. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The reception staff were outstanding - super helpful and very willing to help. EUR 13 for a continental breakfast was a bit steep but we did take advantage of the coffee and Danish for EUR 5 deal.

"A pleasant hotel right in the centre of Dundalk with free parking in a public car park right behind the hotel. The room was smart and comfortable, we could hear music from local bars until around 11.30 which I would expect in the centre of a town, after this there was no noise."
