"What a wonderful little local hotel. The location is amazing for Venice. Just a 3 min walk from Accademia water bus stop. At the end of the block is the dock for day trips to Murano as well. Venice is surrounded by smaller canals so unless you take a water taxi for $50 from the airport, you’re gonna have to drag your suitcase up and down bridges or get a luggage delivery service. That’s why this hotel is at a great location. It can be a bit noisy around opening or closing time for the museum...

"Lovely situation in the less touristy area of Venice, in the university area where lots of local people live. Close to the Grand Canal for water transport. Lots of good sensibly priced places to eat and drink. Brilliant breakfasts and staff all friendly and helpful. We had a lovely short break and if we visit Venice again we will come back here."
