"We loved our jungle experience here. We saw a cassowary when we first parked! The staff was helpful, the communal kitchen was always clean and the common area was a great place for the kids to play games while we chatted. A must do for travellers wanting a unique experience in the Daintree."
"Good location to visit surrounding areas. We stayed in a deluxe cabin and a standard cabin for 2 nights. Comfortable room sizes. Pool could use couple more chairs or loungers for guests to use. Landscaping opportunities around the property to alleviate less mud build-up might want to be considered. Easy check-in, check out. Suggest pack food, or have a set of wheels to get to the few available restaurants."
"Outstanding lodge in a nature reserve with great facilities and friendly helpful staff. The chalet accommodation was spotless, comfortable and very well equipped, and the location in the nature reserve was great. The food in the restaurant was excellent. Only stayed one night, but wish we had stayed at least one more. Having said that, it was not cheap, but good value for what was on offer."
"We did not stay at the Daintree Wilderness due to Expedia overbooking at this hotel. The staff at Daintree Wilderness tried unsuccessfully to notify us and unsolicited found us another hotel nearby to stay Cockatoo hotel which was lovely the owner was gracious and helpful and the room had a large window overlooking the forest.
