Hotels near Downtown Pocket Park

"Stick dirty floors, carpet not vacuumed properly. No liquor license, no beer/wine available - no advance notice of that. $10 parking fee, Expedia mentioned $7 - ridiculous for pay to park at this sub standard hotel. Also, over 50% of TV's no cable - Direct TV issue? "

"Breakfast was ok, not the best hotel breakfast we have had, we ate toasted bagels over the “fresh cooked foods”. One of my older kids burnt herself trying to get gravy and the two ladies working the breakfast area laughed at her inside of checking or helping her. The hotel overall was pretty outdated. Room could have been cleaner. There was something running down the bathroom door in our room, and build up on the floors around the walls/corners. We didn’t see any bugs so that’s a plus. We had higher expectations for the hotel based on the star reviews, instead of a moderate hotel I would put this in the lower category. Outside around the hotel smelt very strongly like weed. Hotel is dog friendly but there is not a designated dog area for pottying your animals outside, they have to potty on the roadside curbs which was worrisome with the amount of traffic that went up and down the road. "

"Room was clean and staff pleasant, with a decent breakfast bar. They also give a small coupon that can be used at the Palm & Paddle Grille next door, which was a good place to eat. I would stay at this location again."

"The first room they sent us to had not been cleaned. They did warn us that it might not have been cleaned yet. The second room they gave us had an awful smell but we were leaving so I thought if the air ran for several hours maybe it would get better but it did not. The bathroom was not the cleanest. We were supposed to stay 3 nights but they were completely booked and could not give us another room so we had to move hotels. They did allow us to cancel the other 2 nights. The staff was very nice. They gave me some spray air freshener but it didn't do anything at all. I should have told them about the smell when we first got the room. "
