Older hotel and needs some updating in the lobby and hallways, but rooms are nice and updated. Nice continental breakfast. Had some issues with our door keys not working and was assigned a new room, after they could not gain access to the room they assigned us. It was very quiet and not busy at all. Had pool to ourselves. Only thing that was distuptive were the trains passing directly behind the hotel. We will likely stay again on our next trip down that way.

The manager is non-existent and does not give his Front Desk staff the ability to make decisions to fully serve the guests. The hotel is more concerned about their policies than understanding the plight of having to make last minute travel changes, even after staying there for 3 nights.

It is a simple hotel but they were incredibly kind, the place was very clean and we had a lot of fun at the pool.

This property was good overall for being a hotel/ motel. Checkin took 20 minutes to get a person up to the desk as the person working the desk was taking care of another issue in a hotel room. The hotel was extremely clean. The mattresses in the room felt like cardboard with a pillow topper, the air conditioning worked well and the bathroom was well stocked with both towels as well as toiletries. The blinds in my room were not in working order as the chain had skipped off the gear. I fixed the blinds and fixed them. Overall very adequate lodging. The lodging was also close to everything in Republic

Family Visit

I was visiting family and had my two young grandsons spend the night with me and they enjoyed the pool. The staff was friendly and answered my questions. The continental breakfast was nice. The boys love waffles and I'm glad there was a waffle maker. The breakfast area was very clean.
