Waves Oceanfront Resort
10/10 Excellent
"Rooms are clean and staff is very present on site. The rooms are a tad dated with the bathroom and kitchen area but that’s to be expected in an older beach town. The location is key if you have kids. It’s right on the beach with a short walk between the grass to get to your setup. Great for bathroom breaks and grabbing snacks from your room. Along with that you are a short walk to the pier where all the action is for kids. But far enough down from where all the mass public parking is that your beach area is quite uncrowded vs the pier areas. Staying at one of the properties allows you access to three different pools at the other hotels which are all next to each other which is great. But here is where the decision making gets strange. The pool at waves which is by far the most child accessible pool of them all goes to adults only from 8-10pm. This is the only pool out of all of them with a walk in step area that’s easier for kids to navigate. So I really can’t comprehend why out of the three pools this one is the one they pick to be adults only. Also I mean realistically if you are staying in old orchard you have kids with you. We found this out when we were turned away and I saw that there were zero adults in the pool on this particular sat night. So maybe that’s a policy that should be looked at and maybe shifted to the pool at ocean house which has no stairs for entry."
Ogunquit - The Milestone

"Our stay was pleasant. We found the room spacious, clean with all that we needed grounds are beautiful and well maintained staff was pleasant and helpful. Although we did not use it. The pool looked clean and refreshing although a tad smaller than it looks in photos I would definitely recommend Milestone and would stay again."

"They do not have handicap accessible rooms. There was a tub and a low toilet. We made it work but I think they could update the restroom. The ice machine was also pretty disgusting, I did tell them when we checked out, so hopefully that will be corrected. The television wasn’t working so the girl at the front desk tried to fix it but had to call the manager who came and fixed it. The girl in the office even followed up to make sure it was working properly. Overall it was clean and comfortable."

"The office staff were great, always super friendly! The room was a good size, and clean. The humidity in the room never really went down, even with the AC running. And the bathroom door wouldn’t fully close to latch (door/frame must’ve been swollen from the humidity). The pool could’ve been cleaner. If the filter was ran, it would’ve been okay. But in the few times we went up to the pool, the filter was never running. But overall this is a good motel. Good location to the beach, downtown, and restaurants. I would stay here again."

"Had a great time at this place, has indoor & outdoor pool, tennis court, walking distance to beach and restaurants, has simple breakfast meals, has a small snack shop, 2 space to park vehicle in front of your room. My room has a mixture of old appliances & modern charging station. Colorful , sofa bed, renovated bathroom. Cold air conditioning. Bed nice and firm . Will come back again, location is a great spot .able to rent bicycle & canoe ."

"Everything was wonderful we had a great time rooms were clean staff was great I got there early but my room wasn’t ready but they gave me a pass to park so I can hang out on the beach or the pool while my room was being cleaned so that was amazing thank you I will definitely be back"
