"This hotel is convenient and the location is scenic. However the hotel is very close to the road which results in a lot of traffic noise. While the room was spacious, the hotel could use some upkeep. The restaurant was not operating at the time of our stay. All in all, as a jumping off point for a Bromo tour it was fine. We arranged a driver through reception and he was fantastic. "

"The place is a little rundown. Constructions around the house were so noisy. Bathroom looks dirty or old. Many small broken things that owner can easily fix to make the place more welcoming were not done. We were very close to abandoning the place and take the loss but there were no available options at the time. This is basically your last resort. "

"I came to Probolingo for one night just passing through. Hotel Tampiarto was very near and easy to find. Checking in we where asked to pay an extra fee which was double the amount of the price said on the web page. Once in the room we found that we got so much more than we paid for.
