We are Canadians who stayed 2 weeks at this hotel and so happy we did. This hotel offered amazing staff, great atmosphere, fantastic cappuccinos and espresso’s. The breakfast had an abundance of selection. Eggs, bacon the usual and of course Italian style. We would share a bottle of wine on the terrace at night and enjoy the view. We were there Nov 29 until Dec 13. We would say the best time to visit Italy. We selected this hotel because it was away from the city center and more into the local area. Things were much cheaper especially groceries at PAM local. Favorite restaurant near by was I Belcastro about 10 mins away and the best margarita pizza you will ever taste. The bus is very close and the number of bus that gets you everywhere is bus 62 or 60. Get a bus pass to save money at the local station. But if you want to burn off calories and take a great walk, we waked about 3 to 5km a day. You won’t even notice that you walked that far because it’s a pleasant walk. So try both. If your like us and don’t want to stay in hotels in the heart of town where a billion people are than choose Hotel Delle Civette.

Really cool old school Hollywood Hotel! I’ve never been in a hotel where every inch of every hallway and every public space was covered with movie pictures, celebrity autographs, everything - even the elevator - has classic wallpaper pictures from old movies, and a replica of feet-in-cement from the Chinese Theatre down the street. The building is covered with neon, and has a wonderful old school classic diner in the lobby. They serve excellent high-quality food, have their own bakery - where the pastries and breads were all homemade and super high-quality - and the service was excellent. Yes, you have to pay $45 for valet parking over and above the normal hotel rate, but that’s a small price to pay to have the location of this hotel. We were only a couple miles either way from virtually everything that we wanted to do on the trip, from Universal Studios to Hollywood and Highland, to the various movie Studios that we went to visit, etc. We were only gonna stay two days, but as our plans changed, we just decided to stay, as we really liked the place. Can’t say that about too many hotels I’ve been to recently. Worth the stay for sure if you’re coming to Los Angeles and don’t want to stay in a standard corporate hotel.

The room itself was amazing—clean, comfortable, and well-designed. However, for the price I paid, I was surprised by the very limited TV channel options. None of the main cable networks were available. At this price point, basic cable should really be included. Great room overall, but the entertainment options didn’t match the cost.
