This was a great stay for our family of 4. If you want the Hilton then stay in the Hilton but this is a really cool spot for those looking for a unique experience. You are right in the main square in the old city in an ancient building. A once in a lifetime experience in this great city (twice in a lifetime as this is our second stay here). Highly recommended if you are coming at this with the right mindset and if you don’t need to be pampered by the staff. You will meet Vjeko at check in but unless you need something you are on your own. Perfect for us and Vjeko was a great host. The only thing to watch out for is that you have to pay in cash as currently they do not take cards. Thank you Vjeko! Hope to return soon.
Nice apartment in the heart of Old Town. Central to everything to do in Old Town. Petra was a wonderful host and I appreciate her assistance with transportation to Montenegro!
This is a small apartment in the center of Old Town Dubrovnik close to everything. Being in the center it's a little noisy at night until late hours.
Other then that close to everything.

So good my experience
It was sooooo gooood! Thanks to Petra, our hostess, everything was perfect. The location is just incredible.
Complete rip off!! Stay. Away. How dare this place charge 5 star hotel price for a 1 star quality and service??? Was put on the top floor with svrl steep flights and met with: 1) Very thin walls. Every step/convo nearby is heard, noise from the streets Past midnight 2) Not even bar of soap offered for a shower. Hostess said she put some kind of body soap into what was actually a bottle of hand soap 3) Towels like sandpaper 4)A bed sheet for a “cover” 5)Shower drain barely drained water 6) BAD internet connection on BOTH signals available 7) Only 2 Eng. speaking TV channels 8) They only take cash no CC. So shady! 9) Toilet running water all night 10) Bldg is dark with steep steps, GL finding the light switch which stays on for a minute or 2 then shuts off 11)Hostess Petra is rude and untruthful (where are these “good” reviews coming from?? Her friends?? I challenge their veracity!) All above failures would be ok IF this place charged MAX $75 a night MAX. This place is worth not a penny more or you’re getting swindled. Only reason I booked was b/c the apt. accom. called SUNce, a 2 min walk from here was sold out for the nt. SUNce was fantastic!!! From a beautiful QUIET apartment, beautiful bathroom, a safe, fast internet, cable, to the awesome hostess. At SUNce you pay a fraction more but get ALL the value for your $$$. I have no affiliation whatsoever with SUNce FYI, just had an awesome experience there for essentially same $ and want to warn you. Avoid Martechini.
Every confort available in apartment lots of steps if you have luggage
Would have been good to have tea and coffee available
Very helpful host perfect location
Our apartment was one of four in a block of Old Dubrovnik on the Stradun near Sponza Palace. It was a challenge to find parking off site but our host gave us a lot of links ahead of our stay to assist us. It was wonderful to have a kitchen and comfortable space to hideaway. This apartment is not accessible for people with heavy luggage or mobility issues at it involved climbing many steep stairs. If you have the capacity to do it we recommend the experience as you immediately feel like you have stepped back centuries!
I was plagued with one flight debacle after another trying to get here. My plane was delayed by 2 days out of Heathrow and then diverted away from Dubrovnik to Split mid flight. Each time Petra was in touch and fantastically accomodating. She actually picked me up from the bus station after I arrived from Split in her own car and got me settled. She also offered to discount the two days I couldnt make it. She was fantastic and checked in with me several times throughout my stay to see if she could offer any help and make sure I was enjoying my stay.
In addition, the hotel is right off the main square of the Stradum in Old Town. Its a fantastic location and I would go back in a heartbeat! In fact, I'm thinking of seeing if I can book a room again this summer.
The only downside is stairs, two flights up to my room, but hey you're in the muddle of Old Town, so totally worth it!
Perfect location in old town. Petra's service was top notch, probably the best of any apartment where I have stayed. The accommodation of the room was modest.
The location was great, close to everything. There are a lot of steps, so it is uncomfortable to get your luggage to the room. Also, I got to the apartment at the arranged time and the receptionist was supposedly waiting at other location so I wandered like 1 hour before coming back and then she appeared.
The apartment is right on the main square of the old town, so location is excellent. It is an old building so I anticipated internal stairs and older style furniture. The apartment was clean and we had everything we required. Petra was very informative and helpful. We were only here for the last night of a 2 week holiday in Croatia and it was lovely to stay in the heart of the Old Town and enjoy our evening without worrying about a lot of steps at the end of the night!
Petra arranged transfer from airport 35 euros & she met us just by apartment which is right behind Main Street. Fab location & central to everything. We stayed in the loft which was quite spacious with sofa bed & 2 singles pushed together. Table & fours chairs & basic kitchen. Only thing I'd say is if got small children the stairs could b dangerous as come up in middle of attic & I was bit worried someone would fall down them but we didn't! Petra was available anytime via Whats App/email for anything needed. Would recommend here.
Cute apt. in old town Dubrovnik. There are stairs!
Petra was awesome. She was super responsive to our email questions both before and during our stay. The unit is in the old town of Dubrovnik right in the middle of all the action. The home is a 15th century building that has been turned into apts. The apt. was clean and had everything we needed including a kitchenette. Be prepared for a lot of stairs. There were 32 stairs up to the apt. and another 8 to the sleeping/kitchenette loft.
Apartment is in a super location - 5 minute walk to one of the gates in/out of Dubrovnik. There's an open market 2 min walk away where we bought delicious fresh fruit and pastries every morning. Petra was helpful in every way - even making bus reservations for our trip further north when we left Dubrovnik.

Great location.
The apartment was right in the heart of Dubrovnik's old city and the owner was friendly. However, we had to check in within a certain time which provided less flexibility. We did not realise we could only pay for the rooms in Euros or Kunas cash, as it would have been easier and cheaper for us to have paid in British pounds. The room was clean but a little dark. We wanted a double bed but instead got two twin beds and mattresses put next to each other, so during the night the mattresses would easily slide apart and leave us lying on the bed frame. On the morning of check out, the city had to do emergency works on the water supply, so we had no water and had to leave the apartment a bit worse for ware, which I realise cannot be avoided but may have been less likely to have happened if we stayed further out of the old city?
