"We stayed just one night at Hotel Kompass before joining a group tour at another location. Staff were very accommodating. Our room was clean and comfortable with great views over the Adriatic. Excellent restaurant for breakfast and dinner and a wonderful walking path just outside of the hotel to explore the area."

"The hotel was excellent the location of the restaurant was wonderful, the room we had was see facing specious, the breakfast was wide variety, anything you want, half board was open buffet , as I am vegetarian I found plenty of food and salad to eat , desert and fruits was great , for exursions it was great location, will come back again"

"Overall, the hotel I chose was perfect for me! (single lady/solo traveler) I'm a yearly traveler around (Eastern) Europe and stayed in so many hotels, and this 5-star hotel had everything I was locking for! Very clean; safe, inside and outside; perfect area (close to the beach, but not to close); quiet; walkable; nice hotel amenities; great breakfast (perfect breakfast time 6:30am - 10:30am for early 'birds'); great location; beautiful view; most of all, the room I had was perfect, nice and very comfortable bed, very clean and modern; and then the whole hotel staff, so friendly and kind! "Overall for the price this is a good hotel in a convenient location for beaches and buses into the old town. We stayed in the main building. The room while rather dated was perfectly functional. The view left a little to be desired but did not matter as we were out exploring Dubrovnik. Breakfast was adequate - plenty of food both hot and cold - only improvement would be decaffeinated tea/coffee! The pool was lovely with lots of space though some more parosols would be great. The view from the pool was amazing. Overall a good stay for money."
