Awesome stay in Dubrovnik. Just as advertised. Quaint, yet modern. Very well appointed apartment facing the Adriatic with a balcony. Kate was an AWESOME host. Like many properties of this type in Europe, not the easiest to find. I was walking on the property next-door, and Kate stuck her head out the window and asked if I was looking for her place. She checked me in, gave me an overview of the area, give me some pointers about visiting old town, provided me with a map and instructions how to get there. Everything worked perfectly, from her directions to the Wi-Fi to the coffee and tea that was provided. Old town is a 25 minute walk, but it is very safe and very pleasant. I travel a lot, usually for work, and I’ve got to say this is the best stay I’ve had in the last two years. The property is charming, and so is Kate. You won’t go wrong by staying here.

La habitación que nos dieron no estaba en el mismo edificio de las de la web, sino a 200 metros y sin las buenas vistas que publicitan. Tras hablar con la dueña nos indicó que tenía 3 en el edificio y otro fuera , que era el nuestro pese a q en la reserva aparecían las vistas del otro edificio. Un engaño pese al alto precio, una falta de respeto , un timo, etc...yo buscaría otro para q no os engañen

We stayed i at Kate's place for 3 nights in July 2021. Absolutely clean and modern. Fully equipped with everything you need. 5 min drive from the old town. Kate was so easy to communicate with , very helpful with info about tours and restaurants and always responded to my texts. Will definitely recommend this place to our friends and family.

A princípio tive uma decepção pois a foto mostrada no site para reserva não é a realidade. O endereço que aparece é para pegar as chaves na propriedade da dona do imóvel, mas o local para hospedagem é outro. Tudo bem que é na mesma rua, porém, a varanda não é totalmente de frente para o oceano assim. Até porque a localização fica do outro lado da calçada. É um pouco pequeno, a cama é junto da sala.

Nice appartment, great hostess

Fantastic hostess, couldn't be more welcoming! Very clean. Nice view of the open sea from the balcony. Everything works well in the appartment: A/C, shower, hot water, fridge, etc. However, beds were on the soft side, something to keep in mind if you have a bad back. At the time that we went, it was so hot that the walk to the old city would have been grueling (mostly down to the city and up to go back to the appartment). Taxis are not cheap in Dubrovnik so unfortunately it adds to the overall cost of the stay. Kate referred us to a great restaurant outside the city walls.

Vue magnifique, très bel appartement, la plage de Bellevue est à 5mn avec des escaliers qui descendent, Kate est une super hôte, elle vous donne tous les conseils. Gute Basis für einen Besuch in Dubrovnik

Wir waren als Familie zu viert eine Nacht in Dubrovnik und waren mit dem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis bei Kate sehr zufrieden. Wir haben Kate vorab unsere ungefähre Ankunftszeit mitgeteilt und am Weg noch einmal angerufen. Check-in hat super geklappt. Der Parkplatz war angesichts der Parksituation Gold wert. Kate versorgte uns ausführlich mit nützlichen Infos. In die Innenstadt geht man ca 25 Minuten, meist sind wir aber gefahren (mit Uber ca. 30-50 HRK). Unser Appartement war ein Studio + extra Schlafzimmer und Bad. Wir haben die Kochgelegenheit nicht genutzt; für Frühstück oder Kleinigkeiten reicht es sicher. Der Ausblick vom Balkon aufs Meer ist großartig. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

Our apartment was wonderful. The best sea view, good layout, clean, fairly modern, comfy beds and sofa bed. Kate, the host couldn't have been nicer. Warm, generous and very thorough, explaining everything. I would love to come back and I recommend this place to everyone.

裏道の階段あり。エアコンはよくきいていました。

いわゆるレンタルアパートです。アパートの部屋の場所は、この地図の場所ではなく、同じ道の奥、行き止まり近くにありました。すぐ近くに地図には乗っていない狭い階段道があり、近くのスーパーまですぐに行けます。ただ、旧市街までは徒歩で25分くらいかかりました。バス停も近くにはなく、時刻表もないので、交通面では少し不便でした。あとはシャワースペースが狭いのが気になりましたが、それ以外の不満はなく、キッチンも食洗機付き、エアコンもよくきいて、快適でした。オーナーも親身に対応してくれました。

We felt fortunate to have found Kate's Place in the tourists packed Dubrovnic. The suite had a nice ocean view. It was within walking distance to the walled old city but did not have the noise and the hustle and bustle of the old city. It was a manageable 20 minutes of walk to the old city. The hostess was very polite and friendly. We were greeted with cold drinks and tips about what to see and do in town. We would like to thank Kate for a pleasant stay at her place.

Only thing I can say it was spectacular vie everything else for terrible room to small beds are to small no frigid and not even drinking water for that amount of money I could stay better places around the world. Room with great sea view and location

We love our stay at Kate’s place. The view from balcony is fantastic. Kate is very nice, we had our welcome drink when we arrived at her place and she introduced us how to get to the old town from her place and recommended good restaurants and markets around. The old town is very crowded and difficult for driving and parking, so walking to the old town is a good option. Kate’s place is perfect located for that and it is about 20 to 30 mins walking to the old town. Highly recommended for whoever stay at Dubrovnik

Friendly landlady

We (two person) spend two nights in the apartment. It is located in a quite street and has a beautiful view to the sea. The apartment is small but enough for two person. Everthing is very clean and nice. Wifi worked fine. We used the kitchen for breakfast and found everything we needed. Also the bathroom was well equipped. Parking on the streets was no problem. The downtown area can be reached by a 20 min walk or via bus. Kate is living in the same building. She was very nice and offered a lot of helpful information. We enjoyed staying in the apartment and recommend it for a visit of Dubrovnik.

I stayed at four different apartments in Croatia, so I would be able to compare Kate aparmtment with the others. The main reason that I reserved this apartment is that there is a parking space. Pros: Good ocean view, parking space, and new apartment Cons: very poor amenities, If you are going to cook, I would not recommend this apartment. Electric range power is too low. Pans are very low quality, no cooking oil, pepper, salt, ketchup, dressing, kitchen towel etc. Everything you should bring by yourself while all the other apartments supplied those basic supplies. No shampoo, no rinse, in bath room.. It made us so uncomfortble. Because we brought everything with us in a rent car, we could stay without asking her. I told Kate that she needs to improve significantly. If somebody could update the condition after this review, it would help to update to the next travellers. While other apartments provided basic sparkling water, soda, beer, snack, wine, fruits, in the refirigerator, this apartment provided a welcome drink and snack next day. The very small refrigerate was empty. Even though Dubrovnic is expensive, the price does not deserve the quiality of service. Locaton is too far from old town to walk.
