"The room was extremely small. The bathroom you could barely move. The shower door did not close and could not get hot water. We were expected a lot more for our money."

"Breakfast was fine. Staff is nice, but not super competent. Plumbing issue not addressed in a reasonable time frame. Double booked my room and had a stranger enter. They fixed it, and in the process voided my key. Had to keep reminding restaurant that i was registered for breakfast due to the room change issue. Great location. "

"A little short staffed but all helpful and pleasant when they got to us. Room and what it offered were fine. We were disturbed by noisy next door neighbours and by other bedroom doors slamming and street noise at night but not much the staff could do about that. Food and drink were good. Check in and check out were fine. It would have helped us if you had included the postcode and address of the car park next door on our arrival instructions as you can't drive direct to the hotel door ."

"Nicely decorated room with superb sea view. However the room was extremely small for the cost and the desk seat was so heavy it couldn’t be moved. Really good leisure facilities. "

"Hotel location wonderful , room view was stunning , second time staying here , Staff great but the overall hotel and room really need updating . Rooms are tired and need work , my parents room had a hill view , beautiful view but the window was totally rotten . Quite expensive rooms for the tired decor . Would stay again but overall condition for the price would put me off . "

"This was a leisure visit. We were greeted by you are early (30 mins) which I had acknowledged before they mentioned it and said they would check. Again they said we were early but the room was ready and told Room 3 upstairs! We only have 7 rooms we were told. The room was tidy but dusty and the window although double glazed had a gale blowing through as it didn’t fully seal when closed. The shower head had more water coming out of the top of the shower head than where it was supposed to come from and wasn’t particularly warm either. You could hear every noise from people walking up the staircase to closing their doors. The staff were ok seemed to be put out when we went to the restaurant which was cold as was the rest of the building. They didn’t come across that friendly or welcoming. The building itself has the promise to be a really nice place but more attention needs to be paid to the rooms and temperature control. It did seem to have contractors staying there."
