Very good internet and reasonably priced pub food, Carcery is a must try. The manager and staff were generally pleasant and helpful. There seemed to be a slight communication issue with housekeeping, the bed wasn’t made, and only the tissues were replaced while the used cups and glasses were left behind. It appears we may have needed to inform the team at the dining area directly. However, the staff were responsive and addressed our concerns once raised. Conveniently located near many restaurants. We parked at Dalmeny, free street parking and took a train yo Edinburgh city, just 2 stations away and around 20 min. Convenient if you have a car Very close to bridges, nice visit to Queenferry

Awesome Time

Easy check in, Nice room. Easy to get out for a smoke. Great budget hotelfor a stay for a few days. Food in the Restaurant was amazing as an added bonus.

You go to the restaurant/bar next door to check in. Good food but a bit strange to go to the other building first. Place was definitely not a five star, but once we got past the initial shock it turned out to be good for the price. No microwave or refrigerator. I would definitely stay there again to save money.

Really the hotel is very clean and neat and the room is spacious with clean bathroom , I would like to suggest adding flexible bidet sprayer to the bathtub. Also the price is very good comparing with hotel level . Thanks Sweet Chestnut.

Great place to stay, very clean room and bathroom, nice price. Walkable distance to the coffee shops etc. Very nice and friendly staff, also help you no matter what the time is - I was checking in late at night. Staff was fantastic especially the lad who checked us in on Tue 6th Aug 2024. Plenty of places to eat in the surrounding areas. On little issue was cars beeping near one of local eateries.
