Dunkær Holidays

This quaint little hotel is set in an amazing location of Malmö. We could see the sea from our window, and there was a grocery store just around the corner for any basic needs. The morning breakfasts had lots of options to choose from (including eggs, bacon, lox, waffles, Swedish pancakes, make-your-own breakfast sandwich, fruit, and yogurt) as well as your basic coffee, tea, and juice beverage options. Everyone was very helpful and spoke English when giving information or answering a question. There didn't appear to be an elevator, but it was only a short walk up to our second floor room, which was perfect! The decorations were a great touch (especially in the dining area downstairs!) and the lighting in our room was awesome. I loved that there were four different lighting options. The bed was very comfortable and my husband and I really enjoyed having our own individual blankets on a shared bed. We were also able to use a remote to select the firmness of each of our sides of the bed individually which made for an excellent night's sleep. The blackout curtains were helpful, since we were very jetlagged and the sun was only down for a few short hours in the summer. The bike and scooter rental just around the corner made it easy to get around without a car as well, though much of what we needed was within walking distance. Next time we're visiting, we'll definitely stay here again!

Beautifully decorated room.Its a BnB not a hotel so no staff after 6pm.You get a code to enter after that time. Breakfast is in a restaurant a few doors down.Both these facts did not bother us and felt it was great value for money as perfect location 3 min walk from train station and at edge of historic district on pretty street.
