Top Dunvant Hotel Reviews
Delta Hotels by Marriott Swansea
10/10 Excellent
"All excellent - Nothing dislike or complain about."
Mercure Swansea Hotel

"Good Hotel"
The Dragon Hotel
8/10 Good
"Great location, price and staff. Parking too. We had a room for 3 adults but only had two towels and there was no hot water from the shower. The kettle also didn’t look the cleanest and had limescale. It’s perfect if you want cheap and cheerful for a night out but if you want comfort or are taking older family and friends it misses those final touches"
Best Western Aberavon Beach Hotel
8/10 Good
"Good stay, I felt the lift looked tired and the decor was failing in parts. Staff were really helpful, beds comfortable, right on the front. Would use again."
The Diplomat Hotel and Spa
8/10 Good
"I considered giving this hotel 3–3.5 stars, but the excellent staff genuinely lift it to a solid 4. We stayed three nights in early August with our two children and had a large room with two king beds. Housekeeping missed two items (a glass of stale cider and a pair of socks), which the receptionist quickly resolved. Otherwise, the room and bathroom were spacious and comfortable. Breakfast had limited vegetarian options, but the team—especially Gainsley—looked after us brilliantly, providing vegetarian sausages daily and remembering our needs. Dinner also included thoughtful off‑menu vegetarian dishes. My wife enjoyed a relaxing massage, and although the pool is small, it was fine during our stay. The main issue was the mattresses in Room 51, which were extremely squeaky—loud enough to wake us despite being heavy sleepers. With two kids moving around, restful sleep was difficult. We raised this at checkout and suggested staff test the beds themselves. Despite this, the staff are outstanding—warm, proactive, and genuinely caring. Fixing housekeeping lapses and replacing those mattresses would make the stay significantly better."
Village Hotel Swansea
10/10 Excellent
"I had a truly wonderful experience during my stay. The rooms were exceptionally clean and well-maintained throughout my visit. Furthermore, the service provided by the staff was outstanding and very helpful. I would highly recommend this place to anyone seeking a comfortable and pleasant accommodation. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and I appreciate the excellent service."

"Reception staff were excellent. TV in room didn’t work. Pool area was very clean. The restaurant for breakfast was very good but service in the evening wasn’t very good, no cutlery, no salt on the table, getting staff attention was hard work but appreciate there was training of new staff."
