Booking was done in July 2022 but on arrival Sun1 provided me with disabled room smelling pee untidy. Was wondering what's the used of booking early instead of receiving 1st preference I had very terrible services. I was indeed disappointed will never booked at SUN1 ever.
My stay was not good at all ather guests where coming to the hotel sround 2am making horrible noise even singing. There is no control at all in the parkings
Housekeeping walks into the room without knocking first. There was a party the whole afternoon into the night on the floor outside which could be heard by reception but nothing was done to make the noise levels less. The room itself was great. Staff was great.
location is noisy, room is not clean , no towels provided.

Friendly receptionists
The receptionists are nice and friendly, welcoming with warmth. The room was too small, with shower next to the headboard of the bed. No iron, No hairdryer inside the rooms, glasses are small and plastic, air conditioner was not working, the room was hot. The nice thing about the hotel is that there is minimum sounds and privacy is respected.
When booking no mention about the R40 per night parking fee, and then they wanted to charge me a levy, false advertising. The Hotel is right next to the train and bus station, room very noisy, could not sleep.
I left early, could not take the noise anymore. Shower sprays onto the floor everything wet. Very poor conditions for a sun hotel.
We booked the place since we were on did not get a bus to Mpumalanga and we decided to be close by the bus station and luckily when we were checked in we got space on the bus and we had to check out , but the hour we spent there was peacefull and clean.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Wonderful staff, just a few upgrades needed
The service from the staff is brilliant, however limited tv channels and faulty air-conditioning was a low
The staff was rude and very unfriendly. The noise level was very high people were coming in drunk and making noise. The staff wakes you up early in the morning to ask you stupid questions
I was really not impressed, when we booked it was said breakfast included only to find out its R55 per person, like really you let us watch SABC TV, what happened to DSTV? I wouldn't recommend a friend to book there as for me it was the first and the last time however staff members has a very good service though always wearing a smile.Keep it up!!
The failure to provide clean towels is just unacceptable. Noisy neighbours split the stay, the parking situation leaves much to be desired and the location is one I would not visit again.
