"Close enough to the center but far enough away for peace and quiet. Staff were amazing, rooms were clean and breakfast was great. I would stay again for sure."

"the room was cozy and good for one traveller max. staff is great and food options are ok if you’re really hungry. my room was really dusty for some reason and would continue to collect dust throughout my stay. "
"We stayed for a long weekend and I will say this is one of the best hotels we have visited. Staff could not do enough for you. Will definitely go back"
"Very good hotel in the center of Amsterdam . All the main touristic attractions of the city were walkable and easy to do because of the location of this hotel . The view is beautiful around the hotel and lots of eateries and shopping is available closeby for tourists . Loved the convenience of being in heart of all the main attractions of the city .Highly recommend this hotel for families on vacation to Amsterdam . "
"We stayed at De Jonker for a long weekend just gone. We were very sceptical about staying here to be honest, after reading quite a few negative reviews. All I can say is our experience was totally different. We had a last minute room change via email, so I think potentially our room was a deluxe suite. We found the room to be clean, comfortable and with everything we needed. The bathroom and shower was lovely, we had a little rail for our clothes, clean bedding and towels, and complimentary toiletries and use of an ironing board and iron downstairs. The location was great for us, the number 14 tram takes 7 minutes, if that, to get into the centre, and the tram stops literally across the road outside of the hotel. A few doors down from De Jonker is an amazing breakfast place called Box Sociaal, we went twice and would highly recommend. We had absolutely NO issues with the QR code our whole trip, I’m not sure if they have changed the system since previous reviews or if people just weren’t perhaps scanning it with their screen brightness turned up enough or at the right angle, but not once did we struggle to enter the property with ours.
All in all we had a very comfortable, peaceful and enjoyable stay at De Jonker and based off of our experience, would definitely return.
Thank you! :)
