"I felt safe at the property"

"The smoke was unbearable. I ended up having an asthma attack and leaving my reservation 3 days early. It’s been a week and I still can’t get in touch with anyone regarding a refund for my stay. I call And the staff transfer me to a dead phone line. The room temperature never reached the desired temperature. It was hot and stuffy. And whole place reeked of cigarette smoke. They say they have a gym. But do not. It’s closed. Spa is closed. FOR 6 YEARS. No big winnings at the casino. Just don’t bother. Harrahs is 15 mins down the road. Avoid at all cost. "

"Got in after 9:30 p.m. due to flight delays, but the staff was incredibly nice and helpful. Person at the desk even helped us with directions for somewhere we could eat late supper. The room was wonderfully spacious and clean. Had ZERO issues while there."

"Breakfast was good for the first day eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, orange juice coffee., ect. The following day the person that did the breakfast didn't show up so they only had cold options cereal, bagels,toast. I was greatful they had things available for my kids. Thank you."

"Check in staff, pool/towel staff, and valet came across friendly and helpful as a couple who are people of color. The food and drinks from the market place were quite expensive in order to have little to no taste/flavor. Some of the food from Bob’s Steakhouse was good. Some of our food selections were dried out or very little flavor. The duck, oysters, and mashed potatoes were good. The baked potato was dried out. The salmon was cooked well, but tasted flavorless. The room appeared clean overall. But the curtain rod had what seemed like years worth of cobwebs that reached down to the lamp with a live spider that was huge. "

" Everything was monetized: (1) this was a suburban hotel with a large uncovered, ungated, parking lot on the property. Parking is free at most similar hotels. Doubletree charged $28 a night for the privilege. (2) The breakfast spread was no different in kind or quality to the free breakfasts found at at best western or holiday inn express hotels-- scrambled eggs, assortments of small yoguarts, make your own waffles, selections of breads and ceareal. Double tree chargred 25 for that breakfast buffet. (3) We were offered a delayed checkout to 2pm ( typically a free courtesy offered if requested). Doubletree wanted $25 an extended checkout. As for regular cleaning, there a noticeable blue paper trash in the hallway when we arrived in Friday and it was still there when whe left on Sunday morning. "
