"Die sehr freundliche Begrüßung hat mir ausführlich die location gezeigt. Das Zimmer war ausreichend groß und sauber. Man sieht aber, dass sich das Hotel noch in der Enstehungsphase befindet. Bitte unbedingt noch folgende Dinge organisieren. Beim Fernseher kann man kein normales Programm schauen (kein Empfang). Apps, wie die vom ZDF, sind nicht ausführbar, weil das WLAN zu schwach ist. "The hotel was a convenient stopover on our way back from Denmark. The guy on reception was helpful and we were pleased with our room that had a double in one part and 3 singles in an adjoining room. Beds were comfy and the shower/bathroom was fine. The decor was a little tired and dated and there were only limited options in the restaurant (which was mentioned and apologised for). The fridge in the room didn’t work which was a shame and it would have been nice to have had a kettle and tea/coffee in the room. Overall a pleasant stay, thank you."
"The room was comfortable, if smaller than some we have used and there were no tea/coffee making facilities but generally OK. Staff were friendly and helpful although parking could be better (we have a disabled badge and parked on-street which was more convenient). Breakfast was good.
The surrounding area was fairly scruffy as clearly this part of Rostock is still in the process of development/improvement. Restaurants were on the other side of what was effectively a dual carriageway with few convenient crossing points but a good choice of outlets.
Rostock as a whole is not an obvious place to visit but there is plenty to see from both the historic and communist eras. The beach resort of Warnemunde is good for high-end shopping and eating although the beach itself is a disappointment. Bad Doberan is worth a visit for the minster church and the "Molli" narrow-gauge railway."
"Hotel is very short walk into town. Dtaff all very polite in texeption. Did find dinner in the restaurant very very slow service but food was excellent. Room with view over river very nice. Cant believe there is no a/c though"
"I arrived and required change to pay my taxi, staff changed €100 note for me, later gave me directions to a local bank so I could refill my wallet. Even though the hotel is near the train station the hotel is very very quiet, one of the best sleeps I have ever had. Make sure to set your alarm as you will oversleep if you don’t. "
