friendly hotel. Reception staff at check in was extremely curt verging on rudeness. When asking if pool was still open said wouldn’t think so as it was their weekend this was at 5.30pm!! Sent us to spa to ask ourselves not what you would expect of a hotel of this standard! Fortunately the rest of the staff were so helpful and their service was great. Rooms were comfortable and clean and pool facilities were great. "

"This is a wonderful B&B. The couple who run it are excellent hosts, very welcoming and friendly. The room we stayed in was very clean, well appointed, spacious and comfortable. We didn't want to leave! The breakfast is delicious, with fresh local produce and even eggs from their own chickens. Homemade jams are lovely and the portions are generous, you won't go hungry and we didn't need any lunch. This B&B is also

and it didn’t disappoint, the only negative is no evening meals, but you can drive into Lanark 4 miles away where there’s a great choice, there’s also a small supermarket opposite. Apart from that we had a great stay and would definitely use again"

was even treated exceptionally well even gave a doggy bag treat and was allowed to have breakfast with us from the breakfast bar. Cannot fault the hotel, staff or food in the slightest. Kids loved it! Said their bed was super comfy! Definitely be back!"
