"I really enjoyed my time here. The only problem is that they are severely understaffed, so garbage was pilled up in the dining areas. The guy I spoke to though was really nice, and gave me practically everything I needed to stay there. The only thing I would say is that you need to buy your own shampoo and conditioner, but other than that everything else that’s essential is given to you. I would definitely recommend this place. It’s cheaper than a lot of single housing for students."

"This is a lovely place to stay. It has everything you need . We stayed here as we were going to a concert in Murrayfiels stadium and the location was perfect. The cottage was clean and location beautiful. Jack left a lovely bottle of wine and a welcome note. Will be coming back to this beautiful place Thanks "

"This is a wonderful property. Close to the attractions of the old city, but away from the hustle and bustle. You will feel like you're in an oasis amid the crowds. We were three people traveling and had a nice sized family room. The toiletries are fantastic, and if I'd had room in my suitcase, I would have bought a bottle of the lotion. The staff is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable."

"Great location in Leith, short walk to the tram stop. Quiet spot but with plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. Hotel bar is nice. Our room had really comfy beds, good blackout curtains. Plenty of storage and well kitted out. Towels big and pillows particularly soft and lovely. Good quality bed linen. Nice to be able to have buffet breakfast and have cooked food done to order. Staff in all areas of the hotel really pleasant and helpful. Only minor signs of age, some chipped furniture pieces in the room. Lots of USB points, but not USB C. One did not work but I only found out later in the day, so if you use the charger points, check before you leave."

"Our stay at The Linton Hotel in East Linton was fantastic from start to finish. The hotel is set in a beautiful area, perfect for a relaxing getaway, and we instantly felt welcomed by the warm, friendly team. The customer service was excellent throughout, nothing was too much trouble, and every detail was handled with care. Our room was spotless, with a wonderfully comfortable bed that made for a great night’s sleep. Breakfast was an absolute highlight! fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented, the perfect way to start each day."

"Pleasant, welcoming and fit for purpose. Condition of communal area tatty and bathroom could be cleaner. Staff friendly and helpful. Good location and great to have Sainsburys and bus stop near by. Superb for park and Arthur's seat, access to Royal Mile and train station. All in all - I would stay again. Price reflects accomodation and clearly states it is not a hotel. I enjoyed my stay in Edinburgh."
