"Really enjoyed our stay here. Delightful quaint hotel with lovely ancient rooms full of character. Owners were very helpful and let us pick up the room keys early since we were attending a local festival. However, we had to ring them to confirm this since no comms whatsoever through the hotel.Com messaging service despite multiple attempts.. Also Hotel.Com stated that a full English breakfast was included in the rate but only continental breakfast was offered by the hotel. This is unacceptable and needs sorting out soonest by Hotel.Com so guests are not misled. However, overall we enjoyed our night at the thatched cottage inn and would stay again."

"We had a perfect stay at 1777 The Albion. Our room was beautifully decorated and when we arrived the radio was playing music of the period which was a lovely touch. The location was perfect for us. We had breakfast in the Olive branch which was very good. The staff were really friendly but the only negative was the service was very slow but we weren't in a hurry."
