Good location to walk to beach and restaurants. Property could use some TLC. Although our room was newly renovated, the outdoor areas are cramped and in need of repairs. Stairs were steep and difficult for anyone over 35. Nice mini fridge, microwave, sink, etc but we didn’t stay long enough to use them.

The Inn was very charming, we liked sitting on the front porch in the morning to drink our coffee with a view of the bay. Access to the beach and nearby restaurants was walkable and very convenient

The view in front of Inn was stunning. It was only me and maybe one other person staying there. I was alone so felt a little creepy but quaint town and the Inn is walkable to the town and right across from the water and that view is amazing.

Really loved the view. The bay is a 30 second walk across the street. There was food still in the fridge from the last guest and used keurig pod in a cup on the desk. Otherwise, the room was clean. We should have locked the door, but got a knock on the door at midnight while we were sleeping, and an immediate entry from what we think was the innkeeper.

Great room with a beautiful ocean view! I wish that the fireplace in the room was working, as it would get a little cool towards the evening hours. Overall, it is a perfect location for the rate. A little dated, such as stains on the carpet and bath towels and definitely could use a new mattress. I was glad to have met the hotel's Proprietor though. He was on the property at check in and seemed to be working on the building with his staff, who were all very nice and accommodating from the time I made my reservation throughout my entire stay at the Inn.

The mice dropping on the floor and on end table. Dirt and dust under furniture. Air conditioner was not working properly.. The owner or maintenance personnel stated he would give us a refund and we left.

The location is great! Right across from the water and walking distance to the small Main Street with dining and shopping. The property itself needs some major TLC. The blinds from the front door were missing, but the metal to hold them was still there. The door is all glass and you could not close the curtains and open the door, so,if you left the room, your belongings were completely visible to anyone walking by. The curtain rail itself, was barely holding on and did not do much to block the sunlight. The “AC” is a small window unit installed in the wall.

I hadn’t been to the Inn at Onset bay in 3 years. There is a new owner who has done so many upgrades that are amazing! Management was very attentive to our needs and allowed us to upgrade for our last 2 nights. Everyone including guests were so nice. You don’t need to drive anywhere! Great restaurants to left and right of property. Beach is literally across the street and beautiful. Watching sunrises and sunsets, all different boats . Was the most relaxing vacation I have had in a long time. Can’t wait to go back! The only negative I have to say is don’t trust the room you pick with Expedia . Be sure to call the Inn at onset to confirm which room you picked. Or just call the Inn for booking! The May have better prices for sure! We picked first floor but we’re booked on 2nd floor through Expedia. Thankfully the amazing staff were able to put us on first floor.
