"The pool was dirty. The water was green instead of blue. There was mold in the pool shower. Hotel entrance was hard to find. No staff at front desk during checkout."

"The pool area is absolutely disgusting , there is algae growing below the rock hard raised floor. The pool water is freezing, the hot tubs were filthy, cloudy, stuff like hair and other nastiness floating in it as soon as the hot tubs jets were activated. The noise level was bad, we could hear our neighbors cough. Not enough towels in a room, 5 people and 2 towels didn’t quite make sense. RUN don’t walk away"

"Okay for the price if you are looking for a clean place to sleep. Walls are pretty thin, so unfortunately, you can hear what is going on in the adjoining room😉 The elevator was not working properly. When I asked about it, the desk staff said, “Just don't use the one on the left.” A heads-up would have been nice, and/or a sign on the elevator would have been nice. The bedside table had a clock, a phone, and a lamp. However, there was no outlet anywhere in the wall to plug any of it into"

"Housekeeping was not great. I had to ask if our room would be cleaned as it was past 6pm and was not cleaned. I found out they only clean every three days. This was Sunday. Room serviced Monday but not cleaned until Friday when I asked. There was sticky stuff on the floors and beds were never made. The free breakfast was not very good although the omelet station was good. The location is great for first timers visiting Maine."

"We had a great stay - wonderful weather and hardly anyone there! The hotel is charmfully historic and the rooms were cute. Everything was well maintained. Staff were inconsistent - some very helpful, others... The pool and the view from the pool - amazing!!! The beach was not. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!"
