"Upon arriving from Texas, the staff was very friendly. Eboni, in particular, was welcoming and did her best to accommodate our needs, which I greatly appreciated.
Unfortunately, the condition of the hotel was extremely disappointing. Our first room reeked of cigarette smoke, the carpet was filthy, and the bathtub had a significant amount of mold around it. After reporting these issues, we were moved to another room, but it was even worse than the first.
Cleanliness is one of my top priorities when choosing a hotel, and The Hu fell far below my expectations. While the staff was courteous and attempted to resolve the issue, the condition of both rooms was unacceptable. Because of the cleanliness concerns, I chose not to stay at the hotel.
To their credit, the hotel did issue me a refund, which I appreciated. However, the overall experience was disappointing, and I was unable to stay there.
