Blábjörg Resort
10/10 Excellent
"This was probably our favourite stay on our Ring Road tour. The resort was beautiful (the only surprise was that the pools and hot tubs were part of a spa package and had an extra fee), the restaurant had a fantastic menu- dinner was delicious, our breakfast was amazing! The location was stunning. Cute little spot with a huge puffin colony five minutes down the road. Loved this place!! Highly recommend!!"

"My husband and I had a room with a private bathroom in a unit outside of the lobby/main building. It was very basic but had enough hot water for morning showers and was quiet. We loved that the back windows looked right it into some bushes, so it was very private :) The staff were some of the most warm and helpful of our trip."

"Stayed here for one night as part of our Ring Road trip and it was fine for that. Walls were really thin, guests were quiet but could hear water run every time toilet was flushed. Place had a lot of rooms so lots of people coming in and out and moving around and our room was first floor right by the door. Rooms are scarce in the area so its served its purpose but was one of our least liked places we stayed. Probably bottom one or two places out of our 9 day trip."

"We had a family room with 5 beds. Simple but clean and the breakfast was excellent. Only 10 min drive to see puffins. Lots of amazing hiking nearby."

"The location is excellent and queit. Only place to eat was the hotel restaurant. There were an item or two for vegetarians. Price was on par with slightly high end restaurants. Staff was excellent, service was top notch. The restaurant overlooks the fjord and makes for an enjoyable evening."
