"We made a mess of our booking and arrive one day early. Receptionist was excellent and very accommodating. Hotel is very close to the railway station and centre of the town. Staff very pleasant. First class buffet breakfast to suit all tastes. Would happily stay there again"

"Excellent location, really near the station. Many restaurants near by. Not sure if it was the room I ordered but it was surprisingly spacious. Clean and very pleasant. Beds comfortable. I was on my own so was going to watch a bit of TV…one English Channel on motorway cops. Dreadful! Read my book! Might be worth taking ear plugs, doors banging a bit. Breakfast was excellent, far exceeded my expectations. Found all staff helpful and friendly. Check in was 3pm, was early so left my bag and went for a wander. Totally met my needs, would recommend "
