"Lovely decor and design, comfy beds. Very clean. Check in and staff generally need a little more polish to be considered truly 5 star. Room service dinner was nice apart from chunky chips with the fish and chips were hard."

"Decent size room, friendly staff, and very good location for getting to Southampton port, but there were a few issues. Room was clean for the most part but very dusty and a few mysterious stains on the headboard and chairs. Bed was pretty hard and uncomfortable. Room was very hot - they provide air con but it only stays on for an hour before defaulting back to 25C meaning we had to keep setting it again in the night. The glass door to the bathroom is a bit weird - would not recommend if you are not very comfortable with person you are sharing a room with. Good amount of parking however don’t be lured into the more expensive room rate that includes parking if you stay at the weekend as parking is free then! We picked this hotel in part due to the presence of electric car charging, however all were either in use or broken so sadly we had to charge elsewhere."
