Great long weekend getaway
Fantastic location with a lot of amenities. The view from the patio and balcony is amazing. The interior is a little dated but clean and comfortable and the staff is very friendly.

The property is has panoramic views from every direction- it is a very clean and tidy property but the room we had was poor and certainly did not warrant a 5 star rating., the room had no air conditioning or ventilation of any kind other than opening the balcony door (which would not stay open on its own)- the bathroom had a glass see through door without any lock therefore no privacy within the room and no extractor fan or any for of ventilation. The wood frame double bed had two single mattress's which tended to leave a gap. The leisure facilities were good as was the gym. The bar never opened durring our stay.It was not worth the money charged.

Lovely retreat
This is a fun hotel, feels like throwback luxury. It is a bit outdated but in a very charming way. The food is high quality and they take service quite seriously. We enjoyed the spa amenities and we had a room with a beautiful view. The room was large and comfortable enough to spend lots of time in, which was great on rainy days.

Perfect long-weekend getaway
Staff at the hotel were kind and helpful. The room was much larger than expected and the location of the hotel up top of a hill is great! I chose the hotel because of its pool but everything else about it turned out just as enjoyable.

Nice spa hotel
Stayed just for one night in August on way to Grand Prix. This is a nice spa type hotel, facilities in the spa were exceptional. Would have been good to stay longer and take full advantage of the facilities, but overall a great hotel.

Nice hotel with a French flair
Great view from. The terrace over lake and Eschenach . Nice pools in and out ! Room are nice and comfortable beds . Only down side no air conditioning so with recent heat at 30C + we struggle to get the room cold overnight. But nice view at breakfast.

Staff were very helpful. No air-con in room and it was a humid night. Pool and spa looked good but closed by 20:00 so not able to try them.

Lovely place, no people!
Booked a spa hotel as driving from Italy to UK and thought it would be lovely to use facilities when I got here, arrived later than anticipated, hotel is very very quiet indeed and the spa was closed! Hotel staff were very kind and helpful and made me feel very welcome indeed. I imagine it’s wonderful here later in season when there are more than a handful of guests

Top notch
Absoltely great place. A pleasant walk to the town. Close to walking trails as well. Even walked to Germany for an evening meal one night!. Hotel spotless with amazing sauna facilities. Best of all, we left something of value and they posted it to the UK free of charge and would not accept any reimbursment.

Hotel to celebrate our anniversary.
The Hotel rooms are quite small for 2 people however they were very clean. The bathrooms have been upgraded to a very high standard which then makes the rooms stand out as a little old fashioned. The pillows are very soft and in fact disappear the moment you put your head on them so I requested an extra pillow which the staff immediately supplied but I probably needed a third. The staff were very friendly and always attentive. The spa and pools were excellent and the gym was well equipped. The restaurant was a little on the pricey side and the chef was not as flexible as I would have expected given the price but the food we ordered was very good but I could have purchased and eaten cheaper for the same quality somewhere else. I would definitely stay again at the hotel but would eat at the local rest in the local towns as they were excellent quality and value for money. very good hotel all in all.

Überaus freundliches Personal, man fühlt sich wie in einem alten S-Klasse Mercedes. Luxus, ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen aber keinesfalls verstaubt. Liebevoll eingerichtet und gut in Schuss. Schön gelegen, schnell zu Fuß in der Stadt, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe. W-Lan ist genauso langsam wie ich es von Zuhause gewohnt bin. Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt.

Great location, but rooms are dated
The owner likes to keep the rooms dated. Staff is excellent. Location is perfect. The toilets are so low, it's not 2023 and bathroom is very old. Breakfast nice, but not spectaculaire. The view and the pool is great. Close to the town. Nice town Wouldn't book it again for € 240,00 pro night. Expected more!

Sacré Paquebot... et gentillesse.
Accueil très attentif, gentillesse et professionnalisme du personnel impécables. Lieu et infrastructure juste incroyables en taille et d'espaces dédiés...salons, salles de restaurant, terrasse, sauna...salle de sport. Le truc, c'est que cela date des années 80. Bien entretenu, mais très viellot. Malgrès tout, moment très sympathique grace à la gentillesse et attention du personnel, avec un service "à l'ancienne", très attentif. Nous y retournerons sans doute. Mais appleler pour savoir si les saunas et restaurants sont ouverts... Là, le restaurant est fermé tout l'été. L'hiver, petit déjeuner froid uniquement. Sacré beau paquebot qui a dû être sompteux. Nostalgie, quand tu nous tient...

Une catastrophe...
Une catastrophe. A 23h les clients de la chambre au dessus de moi ont mis en route leur jacuzzi, avec un bruit/vibration énorme résonnant dans ma chambre. Il a fallu un certain temps avant de comprendre ce que c'était. Le desk n'a pas répondu au téléphone avant plusieurs essais. Il aura fallu rappeler une seconde fois le réceptionniste en menaçant de me fâcher pour que le bruit cesse à quasi 00h00. Le lendemain, personne à la réception n'était au courant. Aucune proposition de compensation ou autre... à part quelques excuses.. La pire nuit dans un hôtel de toute ma vie ! Certes, le "cadre" est peut-être 5 étoiles, la salle de petit-déjeuner très agréable et le buffet achalandé, mais servir des croissants et pains au chocolat industriels, durs comme des cailloux, ça non plus je n'avais jamais vu !

Den gamle hovedbygning trænger til fornyelse. Badeværelset var ikke rengjort tilfredsstillende. Wc’et var beskidt, der var snavs i badekarret og der stod en lille, brugt efterladt shampoo-flaske på kanten af badekarret. Vandtemperaturen i brusenichen var umulig at regulere. Det tog mere end 5 minutter før der kom varmt vand ud af bruseren, hvorefter det var nærmest umuligt at få koldt vand!! Samlet set ikke pengene værd.

Zwembad, spa, ontbijt de moeite waard. Kamer met park view was gedateerd, bed was prima, maar een en ander moest gerepareerd en vervangen worden. Als je het geld hebt, kies city view. Heb betere kamers gehad voor minder geld.
