Great location, close to main city-center

Hotel room was very large (family suite), breakfast had a combo buffet and order menu. We toured the city for 3 days, very walkable (hilly though), and great options for restaurants. We toured the old castle, fantastic history and views of the city. We will certainly be back!

The hotel is a short walk from an ncp carpark which makes travel convenient. The breakfast options are excellent and whilst the restaurant evening menu is limited, there are good options and the food tastes lovely. Plenty of places to sit, and a good bar. It is easily walkable to grass market and princes street. Staff are very friendly and helpful. This is the second time I have stayed here, and would definitely recommend it.

WEEKEND in EDINBURGH

Our stay in Edinburgh was good, the hotel itself was nice and we were happy that we were allowed an early check IN. However disappointed that the room condition was not great, bathroom sink was cracked and bathroom door was very noisy had to put lotion on it to free it up. Breakfast was excellent and the service was very good. Check in and out was great.

Very central location with friendly and attentive staff ensuring a relaxing stay. The breakfast is worth a mention too with both buffet and specials to order. We travelled with children for sightseeing and everything was working walkable distance very close to castle.

If you’re visiting the castle then this is the place to stay, just a 10 minute walk. We were pleasantly surprised when we looked out our room window and had a magnificent view of Edinburgh castle.
