Room was very clean.Staff friendly. Breakfast meal was very basic . Could be at least fresh green salad or fresh vegetables . Hotel has one steam room and one sauna. Big pool,but very busy with swimming lessons and parents waiting along side the pool.Unless you come late in the evening, it's not very relaxing. Good connection with public transport,as hotel located further away from Edinburgh centre.

The hotel is far from everything. One day, they forgot to clean our room. The floors weren’t cleaned, and the towels weren’t changed. Breakfast had little variety, and the hotel restaurant/pub closed very early. For the price, I expected more.

I have stayed at this hotel twice in the last 12 months, and am never disappointed with the service I get. Staff will go out of their way to sort any problems you might get. And for a small fee you can use the gym and the pool.
