Superb hotel in great location. Room with 2 beds was spacious and having the balcony was very nice. Only issues are that: 1) the bathroom is small and awkwardly designed compared to rest of the room which also resulted in the floor getting flooded anytime a shower was taken, and 2) gym needs additional weight machines to make it more complete and up to expected standards for such a nice and modern hotel.

Modern and best location in Edinburgh. Located in NewTown, attached to a new shopping center, very convenient. The main Bus station is also 1 block away. Everything is within walking distance. Just book it wont regret it.

W Edinburgh is a fantastic hotel and one of the best places to stay if you want to be right in the heart of the city. The location is hard to beat—very central, within easy walking distance of Edinburgh’s major sights, restaurants, and some of the best luxury shopping in the city. Two thumbs up! The staff were excellent throughout my stay, friendly, professional, and very helpful. My room was modern, stylish, extremely clean, and very comfortable. One of the highlights was the sushi restaurant on the top floor. The food was excellent, and the views over Edinburgh made the experience even better. The rooftop areas are definitely worth visiting, even if you’re just going up for a drink and to enjoy the scenery. Super nice up there... Overall, I had a great stay at W Edinburgh. If you want a modern luxury hotel with excellent service, great dining, incredible views, and possibly the best central location in Edinburgh, this is a great choice. I would definitely stay here again. Nice gym too...

I absolutely loved my stay here. The hotel was beautiful and the staff were really wonderful. I had been asked in advance if I was celebrating a special occasion and I explained that it was my Ruby wedding anniversary although I had been widowed for many years. When I checked in there was a beautiful bouquet of roses in my room with a card from the staff. This was such a lovely gesture and I really appreciated it.. I will definitely return here.
