"I am beyond disappointed with our stay. My family and I were given the wrong room to start, but that was just the beginning. The Issues: Cleanliness: There was literally blood on the toilet when we checked in. Absolutely unacceptable. Poor Renovations: It’s clear they did the cheapest "upgrades" possible. You can still see messy caulk around the sink and doors. Functional Failures: The bathroom door wouldn’t even stay open, which forced us to take steaming hot showers with zero ventilation. The Area: I wish more reviews mentioned the location. It’s in a very run-down area. Even though it’s "technically" gated, I felt incredibly uncomfortable from the moment I arrived."

"I love the location, 70s nostalgic feel, and the room was a great size, but lacked amenities that are pretty tables stakes at hotels now, like water and shower gel. The balcony chairs were stained a gross brown, and the shower didn't drain properly, making it impossible to wash hair without the tub water quickly rising up to your mid calf. On Easter Sunday, the pool was taken over by employees hosting games for kids, and they required adults to exit the pool for the majority of the day, a massive disappointment, as was the constant smoking of other guests on the pool deck. The staff won't let you eat hotel fries on your pool chair, but the guests around you can pollute the air freely. I didn't get the benefit of what I paid for the stay being unable to use the pool on one of the days."

"We checked in at 2am after 2 delayed flights. The front staff was not welcoming at all, slightly rude. Got to our room and it was hot and muggy. Tried to turn the air on and the thermostat wouldn’t work. Went downstairs to speak to the front desk attendant and all he said was “fun fact from what i hear the air don’t go past 70” that was it. I had to go back to my room and try to sleep it was miserable especially after a very long day of traveling. seriously the hallway was cooler the temp in the room stayed at 74 and the air or fan never kicked on. The water pressure in the shower was non existent. We ended up checking out early. There’s way better hotels to stay at in miami. I’ll be marking this hilton off my list for sure. "

"It's the most terrible experience for me ever! Hardware conditions, amenities, services... everything was terrible! No blankets, no cups for brushing(even most common disposable ones), no room phone (you had to talk with front desk in person).... Almost nothing! Things on site were in bad/wrong conditions, lamps, toilet, bath tub...Most terrible thing was that they charged so-called Safety Deposit $100, which never be mentioned on booking requirements, especially the Deposit has not been returned to me yet by now(nearly10 days since check-out), and no response to my asking for. "

"Just a bit disappointed on room service sometimes we had call to come and clean and no towels but again it was the holidays so maybe short staffed. The umbrella situation on the beach is terrible the won’t put umbrellas even if all other hotels have. If there is a tiny bit of wind they won’t put them so we spent 5 days no umbrellas. They won’t give you a late check unless you pay even if hotel is empty. But overall a pleasant stay."

"Room has cold ac and bath shower combo which was great for the kid. They have an outside area that is fully gated with picnic tables.So if you have children and you want to let them play for a moment while enjoying lunch it's secure"
