The kitchen is perfect, plenty of work space and well laid out. Bit of confusion over the microwave until I realised it was built into the oven. Maybe do with a washing machine. Great surroundings and a great place to stay."

Great location, short walk to cathedral and centre. Lots of choice for breakfast and good selection on evening meal menu. All reasonably priced. Would return on next visit."

"Stayed four nights, but didn’t get around to using the spa unfortunately. The hotel is nice, and made a change from the chain hotels I normally stay in, but it was about the same price at this time, so why not. Reception staff were nice. Chambermaids were polite and helpful."

"Stayed here many times, and will be staying again. Usually excellent all round, this time room was not clean dirt on floor and marks on wall chair was badly stained bathroom floor was very dirty and taking the tea making facilities out of the cupboard found the kettle was left with water in it .. This is the first time ive marked down this holiday inn as Usually like I said it's excellent. Maybe just a blip in procedure."
