"Our stay at Valamar Lacroma was delightful! We informed them we were on our honeymoon and they upgraded our room to a stunning Suite, such a thoughtful gesture! We especially loved every staff member we met, their service was top tier. We especially want to give a shout out to Dubravka and Hrvoje at the front desk who helped us with a very complicated issue and spent quite some time translating for us! We also got great recommendations and service from Dominik and Marin! Also have to mention breakfast, loved the selections! One side note, you do have to walk pretty far for the beach. We definitely wished that there was a more private beach option we could use with lounge chairs that you don't have to pay for. "

"Gorgeous, modern, airy hotel overlooking spectacular bay. Lots of cafes and restaurants nearby. Easy access by Uber into Dubrovnik 10 mins) Spacious lovely bedroom, comfy bed, great rollaway bed. Extensive, great choice, breakfast buffet with open, spacious dining hall overlooking pool. Nice, poolside bar with good snacks. Sauna area and massage facilities very good. Friendly, helpful staff. "What an absolutely amazing place. We have fallen in love with the hotel and the Island and didn’t want to leave. However we did have a mess up at check in which I think the hotel could have handled differently. We checked in ( after the stated check in time ) and were given our room but when we got to the room it was already occupied. We were told by reception to take a seat and they would look for another room. The hotel was obviously not full but we were kept waiting for about 2 hours. Personally I didn’t think the receptionist really knew how to deal with the situation. Anyway we eventually got given another room which was fine. The place is so relaxing that the check in incident was soon forgotten. Breakfast is basic but ok. All staff were great and friendly, but a special mention and thank you to Venus who looks after the beach, so helpful and friendly. By far the most helpful member of staff at the hotel. We will definitely be back "
