"The staff was great at the property. They accommodated a room change part way though our stay. The first room was 26 degrees and wasn't nearly as clean as the 2nd room. We found a used shower cap, stray hairs in / on the bed and cockroach in the bathroom calling up the shower walls. The 2nd room had a more manageable temperature and was markedly cleaner than the first room. The property appears to be going through a branding change. The pool was closed and there appeared to be a general problem with the HVAC controls in the guest rooms. We probably would not stay here again if in the area."

"As a multi-stay repeat customer, I'm always eager to stay here while in Ottawa.... when I can find it at a good price. The only real downfall of this hotel? Parking. It'll add $25/night to your stay, and it's really tight, very awkward, and hard to navigate. I'm ALWAYS worried my vehicle will get hit. The spaces are narrow/small and the aisles nearly nonexistent. Picture... Parking Tetris. If you have a BIG vehicle, forget about it. Other than that, this hotel is awesome. Great suite-style rooms. Spacious, with tonnes of in-room amenities, and cozy beds. The VIP lounge is nice, and the included breakfast is extensive with many options. Front desk is helpful & friendly. 10 minute walk to Parliament Hill district & 15 to Byward Market neighbourhood. Tonnes of dining options up & down Elgin St too. Great stay. I will be back! 🙂"

"Clean and well appointed suite. Centrally located and walkable to Parliament Hill, National Art Gallery, Mint, Byward Market, Sparks Street Mall, National War Memorial, etc. nice coffee shop in lobby."

"I liked everything about the property..location, staff, cleanliness, room. The only criticism I have is that you need privacy curtains, for privacy and of course darkness. When you face another condo building it’s imperative to have privacy."
