Great location- walk to beach, walk to restaurants. Driving around slso easy. We were comfortable in our room- old building but clean, updated bathroom, good beds. Loaner beach stuff available, even a surf board. Desk woman, manager was incredibly welcoming and eager for us to enjoy our stay. Highly recommend

Perfect location for a carless getaway. I took the train from the airport and was easily able to walk to the motel, as well as the beach and all the fabulous shops and restaurants. I even walked to the san diego botanical gardens! And the staff was awesome!!! .

Stayed in an ocean view room for five nights while visiting family. Room was beautifully updated and had two very comfy king beds with great bedding. great location to walk to the downtown area of Encinitas and the beach, and easy access to I-4. We didn’t have daily housekeeping but I believe it’s available on request. Not the usual chain hotel or motel but we did not need a pool or breakfast that would normally come with a chain. Would happily stay again at this lovely place.

This property is the best Motel I've ever stayed at. We Loved the proximity to Moonlight Beach, the free beach equipment available to borrow, the staff and the amazing ocean view. The staff was very attentive to the smallest problem that came up with awesome customer service. We've already booked our next stay to visit again.

Perfect for what we needed as a family of four with two little kids. Main room had nice kitchenette with queen bed, adjoining room had a door that closes and two twin beds. Rooms were clean, parking was easy, walking distance to playground and beach.
