"We had a lovely stay at the hotel and the in room onsen was a real treat. The hotel is slightly out of town but no more than a 10 minute walk. The hotel itself is a little old fashioned but many of the hotel in this region seemed to be similar. "

The Hotel will send a minibus at certain times of day to pick new visitors up from the railway station. "Location was good, close to cable car and bus stop. The property is in desperate need for some TLC. rooms are very tired, worn down and neglected. Not to resemble a true Ryokan. Charging 3*hotel rates but supplying a poor hostel standard. I skipped the second night and got a beautiful room in town for half the price. Breakfast was ok. "
