Everything was amazing! The food was delicious I never had a meal that wasn’t short of excellent. The hotel was clean, beautiful and relaxing with all the fire places. The staff couldn’t have been nicer. Every one was friendly but the Chef who makes the best omelette was so spot. The head manager Natelie was super friendly and accommodated my every need. Selma salhi Was one of the best servers I ever had. This place is truly a 10 out 10. I’ll be back next Winter with my family!

Majestic stay at Lake Lucern

Iconic resort on a majestic destination overlooking Lake Lucerne. Clean facilities and farm to table offerings in a fantastic restaurant Verbena. Free tram and bistros included with stay. Communication between varied parties at resort could be improved. Just a few examples: main spa access supposed to be included but upon arrival it’s at extra cost. Breakfast is included in reservation but I was told initially it is not. Sia is only open till 7 pm - could be longer. We noticed quite a few travellers complaining about similar issues. If training and communication issues resolved it would be a 5 star hotel.

Decent hotel

Decent hotel, but is it worth the money? I guess that's an individual decision, but we thought it was overpriced. Yes, they provide the free use of the boat and funicular, yes the Spa is included, but still overpriced in our opinion. Especially as they require you to pay for parking, and dinner options were also above average in price. Lots of positives, but really nothing that we couldn't find elsewhere for less.

Stunning relaxing setting. Quiet and clean. Nice service and the whole resort is beautiful. Only thing you should realize which I didn’t when booking through Expedia is it one large resort with 5 hotels. You cannot use all the facilities of each resort depending on the hotel you book. If you want the famous spa you need to book the hotel for that one or like me who stayed at the Waldhotel you need to pay around 350$ per day to access. The waldhotel has a great smaller spa though that I preferred as mainly quieter. The only on pick I have is they let toddlers in the spa area which isn’t relaxing when they start screaming and I witness a toddler peeing in the spa pool!!?!!? They need to fix that. Lovely place and waking up to an alpine setting and sound of cow bells in the morning.

Not a 5 star feeling

Hotel is rated as 5 star hotel and price reflects that. When you arrive to a 5 star hotel you would expect floor heating in bathrooms, but this is not the case in this hotel opened around 2008. Hence the floor is cold and heating in room else was too warm. We did not manage to adjust heat and had to open terrassedoor during night. We had booked including halfboard. On arrival we found out, that we could choose to eat at 6.30 pm or 9.00 pm. When you book a room with halfboard in a 5 star hotel I would expect to book tabel at a more convenient time and not have to adjust to "two seatings". As half the guests are booked at the same time we had to wait in line for app. 15 minutes before getting a tabel. Again not what I would expect for a 5 star hotel with a nightly rate of over 700 Euro. We will not come again even though area surrounding Bürgenstock is beautifull.

Unvergessliche Tage im Waldhotel

Wir hatten unseren Aufenthalt im Waldhotel von Herzen genossen. Für uns war es ein traumhafter Urlaub mit einem grandiosen Abschluss mit zwei Nächten in diesem Hotel. Das Service Personal ist sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Vielleicht gibt es die eine oder andere Unstimmigkeit in der Kommunikation, an welcher man noch arbeiten könnte, aber dennoch sind alle stets bemüht. Unser Zimmer war wundervoll eingerichtet, mit einem sensationellen Blick auf die Alp, viel frische Luft auf dem Balkon und alles tiptop sauber. Für Annehmlichkeiten ist gesorgt. Wir hatten sogar eine sehr persönliche Überraschung auf dem Zimmer. Wir waren sehr dankbar für diese. Auch der Spa lässt keine Wünsche offen. Alles ist vorhanden und man kann sich in Ruhe erholen und entspannen. Das Frühstück und das Abendessen war sehr gut. Die Auswahl bei der Halbpension war nach zwei Abenden eher überschaubar, aber dennoch ausreichend. Es war auf jeden Fall sehr ausreichend und frisch zubereitet. Das Buffet beim Frühstück hatte viele gesunde Optionen. Beim Bestellen einer Speise beim Frühstück gab es beim Toast mit Avocado leider Avocado aus der Dose oder Glas. Dies hätte frisch sein können, als mini Kritik. Der Café schmeckte auch wie aus dem Automaten und war kein Siebträger Café. Das sind allerdings nur Kleinigkeiten. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall sehr gerne wieder ins Waldhhotel und schätzen das Areal um das Bürgenstock sehr.

Wie waren kurz vor Ostern da und es war sehr ruhig da nicht viele Gäste in Hotel waren. Den SPA Bereich hatten wir fast alleine für uns. Alles top und Service sehr gut!!!

Der Infinity Pool hält was er verspricht.

War ein sehr erholsamer Aufenthalt. Sehr schöner Spa mit grossem Bereich für Damen. Beste Frühstück ever.

Tolles Hotel, wunderschöne Landschaft!

Alles einfach toll, der Blick aus dem Fenster ist atemberaubend und sieht jeden Tag anders aus. Service ist super und man kann richtig entspannen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.
