"Room was incredibly small, hard to get around. TV did not work, told staff, but I had to fix it myself...I did, not them. AC was bad, room never got cool until I complained the second day. They had to bring a fan up to the room to help cool it down...it helped a bit. Shower had zero water pressure. I'm usually not one to complain, but with so many bad things, thought it was fair to next visitor."

"This is a very nice property. It is about two blocks from Duval Street but probably about a mile to Mallory Square. Any easy walk. The breakfast room is really cute and the breakfast is more than adequate. The only down side is the parking which is not free even if you park on the street."

"Location ! Location!Location! That really sums it up . Right on Duval Street , perfect for people watching, shopping and great restaurants . All walking distance. The place is perfect ! Old with characters and yet well maintained. In the middle of the complex is literally an oasis. With swimming pool, fountain, bright foliage and huge trees! We stayed in 2BR duplex with our own sitting room downstairs. Refrigerator and microwave included. Bedroom upstairs are huge with comfy beds.High ceiling, and plantation shutters . The best part is our own upstairs veranda complete with white rocking chairs ! Just gorgeous! If I had to pick one con , there’s only 1 Bathroom ! For a place that can accommodate 8 people, one bathroom will be a disaster lol . Thankfully, there were only 4 people in our party , and we were able to make it work. We did make use of the restrooms and shower facilities by the office . It was not a deal breaker for us . It can be a problem for large group. I need to mention the furnishings- antique dressers and accent server are just so good. The blue couches complement each other. The staff are attentive specially Eric and Sue in the daily breakfast spread . Susan and her assistants are always cheerful and helpful. Overall, awesome stay at Duval House and will certainly be back soon!"

"Everything about the Almond Tree Inn was fantastic, except the breakfast. For people with diabetes, like myself, the only protein offered without any sugar/carbohydrates was hard boiled eggs. Even the yogurt contained sugar when it’s possible to buy sugar free yogurt. Also, some lean sliced meats would be a great addition for additional protein. Between fruits, pastries, cereal, breads, bagels, etc., it was all except for the hard boiled eggs. Also, for those of us that are short in stature, it’s hard to reach the body wash, shampoo and conditioner that is hung on the shower wall. If it was lowered a few inches, it would be much easier to reach. Otherwise, I can’t say enough good about our stay. Everything was top notch, including the most helpful staff. I would stay there again without a moment’s hesitation."

"The property was disappointing for a Hilton property. It took multiple requests to get an ironing board in the room, and get the room cleaned. It is part of the stay to have the room cleaned but it was not in day one and was not cleaned until almost 6 PM on day two. The pool area routinely had debris around and floating in the pool. The pictures of the property show emerald green waters and clean beaches, this was not our experience. In the room, there were pieces tile missing from the floor in a few areas and on the building exterior, peeling paint was readily visible. On a positive note, the staff was friendly, including the great valet staff."

"While the property was acceptable, parking did not really much exist. You are able to park on the narrow street for free if you can find a space. There were three parking spaces right at the property with locks on them if you chose to pay an additional $25 per night to park on the property. A $25 fee was also added to our room receipt described as a “destination fee,” so our $139 room totaled $181.63. Had I known, I would not have booked this stay. "
