Great conversations with the host to understand some tourist benefits better. "We (me and my 2 sons) really enjoyed our 3-night stay at this hotel. The staff are all very helpful despite me not having more than a few words of German. They were all very polite and seemed happy to be working there which gave the place a really nice atmosphere. Our room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Our room was trackside with a balcony giving a full view of the start / finish straight of the Grand Prix track plus a few of the early corners of the Nordschleife. The track action starts early,(8am) on all 3 mornings we were there (late May 2026) which we all loved as petrolheads but if having a lie-in is your thing I'd ask for a room on the front of the hotel as the cars and bikes were loud. The choice at breakfast was plentiful and all very fresh - if your room rate doesn't include it I would definitely add it 100%. We also ate at the restaurant one evening. We ordered the steak, Dorint burger and the Adenauer pan (pork tenderloin with sauteed potatoes, green beans and subtle pepper sauce in case you're wondering). All delicious and good value for money. We will definitely book to stay again on our next trip to the Ring."

"Nightmare transfer from the airport. Followed the instructions to call for the shuttle and it would turn up. Well it turns up with a different name on the white bus, people squish themselves into the 8 seats. Worked out this the was the bus to be told, tough wait for it to do a loop. Not impressed considering I’d called ahead and told it was on its way for me. Call the hotel to find out the still have at least 28 people they are aware of to shuttle. So, wait for it to do its loop 15-20 mins later - it pulls up in a totally different spot and again people start to pile on the bus. Quick jog across the car park and myself and one other that had missed out the first time get on the bus. It drives to the ‘hotel’. Doesn’t look like the photos. Told to wait, the bus driver deals with everyone else that’s on the bus - think they were people picking up cars. Then they ‘check me in’ oh no key ready! It’s 2am in the morning, hotel chap returns to the desk - oh still no key! Makes me a key then says he’s too busy to show me the room- it’s a couple of hundred meters down the road left right left right blah blah. So off I go single female 2am in the morning. Find the hotel and met with a serious waft of cannabis - delightful! The room it’s self was what I’d expect and fine. The rest though disorganised chaos."

Some confusion at check in about the room in apartment down the street while we had thought we had booked at the main hotel Overall a great stay overlooking the Rhine River!"
