"Extremely helpful reception when we arrived. Didn’t eat in but the restaurant was very lively and youthful. We sat at the bar watching mixologists doing their thing and keeping a well organised bar. Would definitely visit again."

"I enjoyed Mercure Wien City. Its a nice hotel by the river with plenty of restaurants and close to public transportation. The only thing not pleasing was the first room that was assigned w my early check-in. I was happy to get a room right away on arrival and agreeing to sign up with their emails updates for deals, etc.. but room 510 was an absolute turn off, need serious deep cleaning. However, staff was kind and helpful to relocate me to a different room which is the total reverse of the first room. I will stay again in Mercure Wien City."

"This is the most affordable 5* in the center of Vienna. It is extremely well located - it is a block from the main opera house and very close to the Theater an der Wien. We stayed there in 2013, and again in May and June, 2026. It will be our "go to" hotel in Vienna. There were a few minor annoyances (rough towels, late dining in the bar required using a QR code, and had loud music, cheap furniture) - all minor issues."

"I had a wonderful stay at the Grand Hotel Wien. The room was spotless. The staff were so helpful. The location was unbeatable. I had lunch here on my last day, and it was delicious. I cannot rate this hotel highly enough. Would recommend it wholeheartedly and would definitely stay here again on my return to Vienna. Thank you."
