We were very happy to find a place that also had a restaurant and bar so that we didn’t have to leave after getting off the road and checking in. The staff was friendly and helpful.

They gave my room away, gave me another room- that room had someone in it. Went back to get another room- only had one king bed, and I requested two queen. Told me that was all they had left, but then changed and found us a room with two queen beds. Hallway smelled of smoke— my husband is allergic and has asthma. Staff was very kind, but experience was not very good.

I am sorry that you had a mix-up with your room type while staying here and even though the property is smoke-free some do not follow the rules (those do get charged per the state of MI laws). I do hope that you try our hotel again the next time you are in the area.

Very clean we stayed in a pet friendly room. Only complaint was our shower didn’t drain. Otherwise close to restaurants and location was good

The towels didn't dry; too much fabric softener. Did not clean the rooms. Asked and they said they only come once a week. Only had a top sheet and thin bedspread. Heater was noisy and the room smells musty.

It was extremely dirty. Carpet was so gross. There was a toe nail on our carpet also. The chair in our room was disgusting looking. The bathroom lights had so much dust on them and they were yellow with one burnt out light. The main entrance looked nice and was decorated nicely. The front desk girl was very nice. Some of the workers were nice that we saw too. But we had 2 people a few rooms down from us and they were saying how their laptop and shoes were stolen and told us to be careful and watch our stuff. But they seemed to be like people I would watch out for. (They seemed like they were on drugs.) also someone was outside our window bumpin music at 2am. When we were leaving the whole hallway smelled like marijuana.The floor in that hallway felt like it was going to fall through soon too. Very lumpy and made loud noises when walking on it. Probably won’t be staying there again.

Nice enough but not 5* accomodations by any means. My room had a tiny tv and two holes in the wall where the previous TV was. The wallpaper in my room was peeling in several spots.

So fun to have the bar inside the hotel!
We really enjoyed the bar inside the hotel. The bartender was great and she made delicious drinks. Nice atmosphere and good way to relax. Really fun!

Nice place to stay. Looks great on a high level but cleanliness of the room was lacking. Used towel was left in the room, an open used bottle of shampoo was left in the shower, the switches on the lamps were sticky and the base of the hair drier was moldy. It would help a lot if they spent some time on the finer details

The hotel was practically empty so very quiet. They prepared a very nice large hot delicious breakfast each morning - not to be missed. This was the highlight of our stay the 2 mornings. Also had a decent gym. Friendly accommodating staff

I understand this property itself is older. However, there is no excuse for the condition of the hotel and the condition of the comfort of the room. It took almost 5 hours for the room to warm up and never warmed to the temperature it was set at. Possible cause could have been the curtains which were blocking the air flow and opening the curtains altogether would have let more cold air in the room. The mattress was OLD and not comfortable. The sheets on the bed were old and paper thin. The fitted sheet was too big for the bed mattress and pulled away from the nasty old mattress. The blanket (?) apparatus was inconvenient and was very old and sub standard. Paint pealing from the bathroom ceiling and looked to be a booger wiped on the light switch which I did not see until morning before I checked out. I understand older but this "Quality" is far from Quality and the rating of 8.2 at the front desk and your rating of 8 out of 10 is a joke. I could never recommend this hotel especially at the price I paid per night. Disgsuting!

Despite the listing on Hotels.com there are no smoking rooms, it is a non-smoking property. There is no room services vs. the limited room service on the listing. Front desk was unhelpful when called about the tv. The comfortor on the bed was stained and the kleenex box was empty. The carpet needed cleaning and the floor under the sink was dirty

I found the hotel very outdated! The windows were filthy, the whole outside of the building needs cleaning or refreshed! Some of the exterior doors did not lock at all! When we told staff, they said management has known about this for months and just don’t care about fixing it!

Staff friendly and efficient, room was clean. Rotted window frame, water damaged wallpaper, nasty looking shower head and old worn toilet seat. The hot tub was closed with no water in it and the pool was all chipped up and looked dirty and the exercise room is weird,broken machines and stinky. I would definitely not stay here again now would I recommend it to anyone.

Overall our stay was great! The room was clean, breakfast was hot, and it was quiet in the hotel even though it appeared to be booked full! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, as a matter of fact I highly recommend stopping in and seeing Dawn in the hotel bar while you are there! She was a great bartender, she made sure we were taken care of and even made some recommendations as far as places to eat in town and things to see! Unfortunately the bar wasn’t open on Saturday evening or we would have stopped back in! I would definitely stay at Quality Inn and Suites Escanaba the next time we are in town! Thanks for everything!
