"Whilst the room was cleanish, the cups were dirty & chipped. The bed was comfortable, however the Air Conditioning didn’t work & it was incredibly hot. We were unable to open the windows to cool the room down, due to the noise from outside, therefore unable to get a restful nights sleep. The shower sealants were mouldy. The bathroom fixtures & fittings were in a very poor condition & there were 3 broken tiles in the shower. It also smelled of dampness. "

"I had a very comfortable, hassle-free stay at the Merlot Hotel. It is very conveniently situated for the Cassaba complex, which is full of bars and restaurants. The hotel staff were very helpful when I needed to extend my stay, and even allowed me a late check out. It was my first time staying at the Merlot but it will not be my last!"
