"In a country that is famous for the friendliness of the people, it seems hard to stand out - but the staff at Hotel Cocomar was outstanding! The current owners bought it about two years ago, and have been fixing it up. They were super hospitable and accommodating. Time after time they took an extra step to make our stay better "

"Rooms have place for improvement, and some rooms are better than the orhers. We were a big group and booked 5 similar rooms, one out of five had a mold-like odor. Staff were beyond nice, friendly,and helpful. amenities were great. And on top of everything else, the nature was so rich! Foods were good too. Overall, it was a great experience and I would definitely recommend it. "

"The staff were attentive and very helpful, and having a private pool was definitely a plus. Parking, however, could have been a better experience. Our balcony was shared with three other rooms, which was fine, but I would have preferred it to be more secluded. The property also shares the beach, and unfortunately it felt a bit dirty and messy at times."
