"The Bastion is located in town, almost next to the John Frost Bridge and the Catherdral and about 10 mintues walk to the station. The staff were always really helpful and friendly. We had a great room with lots of space at the rear of the property and it was very quiet. I'd definitely recommend for a handy stay. "

"Excellent hotel, good location, room large, clean etc. Also possibble to open window not normally available in modern hotels. Our experience for pillows was not what we enjoyed but that was personal taste. Only improvement would be to supply toilet paper that does not feel like sand paper, I expected better. Mention for Naomi in bar and restaurant, excellent customer skills, friendly and smart and great brand ambassador."

"I have stayed here twice now. It’s a great hotel in a beautiful part of NL. I’ll be honest, I didn’t like my room as much as first time, and the evening meal was not as good as first time either. There is a gym, it’s very small though. "
