"Lovely stay, breakfast was very good with plenty of choice and the cooked breakfast was kept nice and hot. We had Room 328 which was very bright and airy with panoramic views, the station, cricket ground and a corner view of the sea. The shower over the bath proved to be tricky in getting the right temperature without being scolded or it turning freezing cold, hence this took about 10/15 mins each day! Bed should be replaced, has probably seen better days as it was very squishy and bouncy, however, this did not ruin our stay. Both of the pools were very good as were the new changing rooms. Staff in the Compass Bar were very helpful and worked well in their roles, especially Ahmed who was always smiling, polite and helpful. Check-in staff were always professional and helpful."

"We had a lovely stay overall. The hotel is in a great location, being close to both the beach and the town centre, which was very convenient. The room was on the smaller side but was clean and well maintained. The bathroom was a good size, although the shower itself was quite small. The bed was comfortable, which made for a good nightโ€™s sleep. Parking is limited, so this is something to be aware of if you are travelling by car. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and particularly appreciated the excellent location."
