"The host was so welcoming. He and his wife made us feel right at home. We immediately felt comfortable and like we weren’t just guests in their home but long time friends. Their hospitality was so appreciated. And the home made breads, yogurt, and preserves didn’t hurt either!! 😉 Highly recommend!"

"Plutôt déçu de ce séjour et voici pourquoi : Points forts : la quiétude du lieu, le paysage, le côté typique des gîtes, la localisation géographique pour les visites Points négatifs : chemin d’accès très étroit et rempli de trous, compliqué de retrouver sa chambre dans les différents gîtes présents dans le hameau car pas d’indications (il suffirait d’avoir un petit plan au niveau des parkings!), organisation médiocre (nom de la chambre pas reçu, idem pour le code de la boîte à clef). "Nous avons apprécié l’accueil de l’hôtesse qui s’est montrée particulièrement agréable à notre égard. La chambre que nous avons occupé était très propre, soignée bien équipée et surtout magnifiquement décorée. Notre séjour a été vraiment très apprécié. Franchement nous pensons revenir un jour pour un séjour plus long qui nous permettra de visiter cette belle région."

"We found this gem on our way south and so glad we stayed. The couple who hosted us were so kind and accommodating. The breakfast was wonderful. The view from the pool was incredible. It is a quiet town so there’s not much around but the city of Sarlat was wonderful. Sunday market is a must! "

"The Maison de Tari is a perfect place to stay for families looking to explore the area around Sarlat. We stayed in a family room with three small children and it suited us perfectly. All rooms had a separate outside sitting area with a large table. It had a good sized pool, a separate communal cooking and dining area, including a gas BBQ and a fridge. A great continental breakfast was provided that included fresh pastries from the local bakery, and a selection of local jams, cheeses and meats....
