"Newton House was clean, comfortable and well presented. The welcome was friendly, helpful and efficient. Our room was spacious and well equipped with a lovely bathroom and good shower. It was a pleasant walk into the city and had we had more time we would have taken advantage of the proximity to the river walks and Christ Church Meadow. "We stayed for 2 nights to meet up with family from Australia. The location is very convenient for travelling into Oxford on the local buses. There are also restaurants, cafes and shops within a 15-minute walk. Very convenient for us"

"If you like old and quirky then this place is ideal! Yes it’s a little tired and could do with a little tlc in places but the bed was comfortable (which for me is a huge plus). It’s in a very convenient location for walking around town. Plenty of cafes etc nearby as well as Sainsbury’s and Co-Op. "
