"Booked a room for two adults and one child. When we got to our room, the sofa bed was not made, found a spare duvet and pillow in the cupboard but no sheet. My son just used the duvet to wrap himself. The next day, our room was cleaned, bed was made, but not the sofa bed. We should probably have asked for the sheet but as we were only there for three nights, we didn’t bother. We just took the duvet cover for my son to use it as a sheet. On the plus side, hotel is very close to the station, receptionist who checked us in was very welcoming. Great selection of breakfast. "

"The room was very clean and was about a 20 minute walk to nearby shops. A tram stop was less than 5 minutes away, hotel offers a free travel card. "

"As is the case with most hotels in Europe, the air conditioning does not operate at this time of year; they fail to take into account—at the very least—those tourists who are accustomed to using it regardless of the season. The room was very basic, despite the fact that we were informed we had received a free upgrade—I would hate to have seen the most basic room."

"Hotel location is close to train station, which makes traveling easy. We got a Basel card, which offers free bus/tram rides upon check in. The room is a bit small, but clean. View outside our window is great. Room is warm when we check in, so we open the window. Not too noisy. The breakfast is on top floor, and not to miss the view. "

"Rooms are basic but clean and bed was really comfortable. The blinds were remotely control, therefore felt a bit vulnerable due to office block directing options. No access to heating/AC in room again this is done remotely. Apprently a kettle is available from reception, but was unaware until last night. Breakfast was good, all fresh but limited on variety. I have stayed at this hotel a number of times and have noticed the reduction overtime in amenities avaliable in the rooms. However the staff and location is always excellent. "
